Rebound with original green decorated boards, new spine, spine label, and end papers. Boards show wear, bumping at edges, else sound. Damp stain to frontispiece portrait of Hargood, light foxing to first two pages and last page, else text block is clean and unmarked. Hargood served as first lieutenant and later commander of the battleships Pegasus and Adromeda under the man who later became King William IV, and continued to serve during the American and French Revolutionary Wars, and the Napoleonic Wars including the Battle of Trafalgar. xii + 206 pages including six Appendices.
