Washington D.C.....The venerable Oliver Wendell Holmes, for twenty-nine years a liberal member of the United States Supreme Court, who is gravely ill at his home here. Mr. Holmes was suddenly stricken with bronchial pneumonia. Mr. Holmes will be ninety-four years old on March 8th.
