About This Item

Blackfriars, London: T. Werner Laurie, Ltd., 1927. Hardcover. Fair/No Jacket. 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall. H. Marshall. xvi, 368pp. Ex-library, with heavy wear to lower approximately 1/3 of fore-edges of boards. Some sunning to spine, though gilt lettering on spine (as well as gilt lettering and decoration on front cover) remains clear and bright. Mild creasing appearance to spine. Some discoloration where sticker used to be on lower spine, though this isn't offensive. Front hinge cracked, though text block remains square. Two signatures in ink to early pages, else, text clean. Tiny tears to extremities of a few pages. Mild tanning to paper. Overall, a good, clean, sound and largely attractive copy
