Boards slight rubbed on corners, a little rubbed and rounded at spine tips. Text block edges a tad toned. Glue residue marks on front free endpaper, else internally neat, clean and tight. In its original dust jacket, also by David Low, a little chipped and nicked at edges, minor shelf wear on verso. Dust jacket now protected in a Brodard-style sleeve, fitted without the use of tape or adhesives. A dystopian fantasy in which an Oxford don is possessed by a Fascist who overthrows the Government and starts a war against the United States.
