On the back of the inside flap is a list of Tasha Tudor books with their prices. The dust jacket has some discoloration from age, light foxing on the back of the dust jacket.

[46] pp. An extraordinarily pristine clean and tight copy of the last of the "Calico books." The dust jacket's lower front corner is price clipped. this correlates with Thomas McCready's penciled re-pricing of thre first three titles on the rear dust jacket flap. They were printed with $1.00 price; McCready lined through those prices and replaced them with a hand-written 1.50. The only other writing in the book is Tudor's 1950s inked signature on the front free endpaper. This book belonged to a New Hampshire family for many years. They purchased it at the Ginger & Pickles store in the McCready house, Webster. Tudor's shop label in brown ink with the Contoocook address is affixed to the upper left corner of the rear free endpaper. Old Tasha Tudor signature in blue ink on front free endpaper.
