Gentle sunning to spine and front cover, with a faint, tiny spot from binder's glue to upper right corner of front cover; Near Fine. A miniature volume comprised of a single brief poem, issued as a New Year's Greeting by Black Sparrow Press, each copy drawn by calligrapher Roger Marcus and bound by Emily Paine. Krumhansl 57c.

With pen and ink, Bukowski doodled on the back of a business size envelope to Nancy Flynn "The Merican Pe Review" in Philadelphia. He wrote a letter to Flynn, April 29, 1975 which ends with a sketch of two people embracing and a flower colored in red. The flower is similar to the one he drew on this envelope. This is a collection of short stories of everyday life; people, places, and of course, partying, drinking, women, sex and more. A fine bright copy bound in 1/3 maroon cloth decorated in blue over cram paper covered boards lettered and decorated in black, pink, blue, yellow, purple and orange, in the original clear acetate dust jacket very lightly rubbed, a light sprinkling of foxing to front fore-edge of leaves.
