The work reproduces the botanical plates preserved at the Institute and Botanical Garden of the University of Turin. They include the artists Francesco Peyroleri, Antonio and Angela Bottione, Maddalena Lisa Mussino, and drawings of Australian eucalypts and bottle brushes. Sml. folio, 14.5 x 11.25", 328 pp, 282 color plates. Publishers cloth, gilt title stamped on the spine and cover, illustrated dust jacket. Housed in a red cloth solander box title stamped in gold on cover and spine.
