Privately printed for the author. 2013. First edition. First edition. Signed by the author and several others. Limited edition hardcover. Original black cloth, in dustwrapper. Illustrated with photographs in colour and black and white. An excellent near fine copy, the binding is firm with a little bumping to the corners, the contents are clean throughout. Complete with the lightly rubbed and creased dustwrapper that remains without fading, loss or tears. One of a limited edition of 63 hardcover copies, this being number 6 (identified as such by a paper label on the front endpaper). Inscribed by the author (Jim Clark's Team Lotus mechanic) in black ink on the dedication page "To Jock / in appreciation of your / generosity / Cedric Selzer"; also signed by Eric Bryce (photographer and close friend of Jim Clark); Doug Niven (racing driver and cousin of Jim Clark); Sir Jackie Stewart OBE (who also contributes the foreword); Peter Darley (photographer); Graham Gauld (author); Sheila Campbell; George Campbell; and one other. An insight into the inner sanctuary of Lotus Racing Cars and to the personality of Jim Clark from the perspective of his mechanic Cedric Selzer.
