The story of a young Yanqui find sanctuary from his drunken father with an old Chinese shopkeeper, Tai Ling, the yogi of Cockroach Court. He soon becomes passionately infatuated with a young girl named Guadalupe. Bound in red cloth, spine lettering gilt, bottom edges rubbed. A very good copy in a very good unclipped dust jacket rubbed long the edges and corners.
