A collection of short stories from an early feminist figure, who made her home in south-central Wisconsin. Zona Gayle was a playwright and author who served as a mentor and friend to fellow Wisconsin author and feminist Margery Latimer. After graduating from UW-Madison in 1895, Gale worked as one of Milwaukee's first female newspaper reporters. A Near Fine book with just a touch of foxing to the boards' edges; dust jacket is Very Good+ with minor toning and a small discoloration to the rear panel.
