Cover nearly unworn, spine is faded and lettering barely readable, several small holes in front endpaper evidently from bookplate removal, inscription on verso, text is mildly age-toned but clean and unmarked, binding is tight. Scarce dust jacket is missing a 2 1/2 inch piece from lower spine and several smaller pieces from top edge. Wonderful pen and ink drawings by Pogany throughout text.

Rubbing and bumping to corners and head and tail of spine; very light soiling to boards; binding remains tight and square.
