SIGNED and inscribed by author on title page. 242 pp; appears unread. Orange cloth boards are tight, straight & clean, with slight fading on bottom edge. Illustrated DJ has minor rubbing and scuffing, but is in great shape. The author and the artist travel to Canada's remote Hudson Bay where they make friends with Cree and Ojibwa Indians, trappers, fishermen, priests, nomadic rice harvesters, children, dogs, and shamans. Beautifully illustrated with b&W drawings.
