Hardback. Publisher's red cloth with title and decoration in gilt to spine, blind rules and monogram to front board; gilt to top edge of page-block. pp xi, 202, [1] colophon. Size: 7 x 4.5 inches approx. (174mm x 111mm).
Cloth lightly rubbed to extremities; a touch grubby and marked in places. Offsetting and foxed to endpapers, a previous owner's name in ink to front free endpaper; pages a touch dusty in places but generally clean throughout.
Overall, light wear but otherwise a particularly nice, clean copy - attractive.

A near fine copy, the binding square and firm, the contents clean throughout. Light spotting to the upper edge of the page block. All edges untrimmed. Some offsetting to endpapers. In the dustwrapper, darkened and with minor liquid staining to the spine (with no trace of any such staining to the book itself) and a c.4 cm tear along the upper edge of the rear spine fold.
