SIGNED by author in ink To Sxx and Nxxx Bxxx, with love and best wishes./ Dec. 4, 1980/ Margaret and Sam Ervin"". Signature & inscription format same as other Ervin signed books, per Google autograph search. Stated First Edition; 1st printing per no. line (begins w/ ""2"" per Random House, at that time). DJ is clean & glossy w/ just a trace of rubbing, small 1/4"" tear top of back panel- otherwise unmarred. NO chips, scuffs or sunfade. Yellow board binding w/ black cloth spine is tight, clean & square w/ no wear. All gold spine lettering & ""SJE"" on front are crisp & intact. NO bumps, rubs, scuffs or fray. Text is tight, clean & unmarked. NO remainder mark, NOT ex library. Excellent copy, displays very well. INCLUDES: News clipping/ article, re: author's death in 1985; laid-in as found.
