London: Angus and Robertson, 1956. First Edition. Green Cloth. Very Good/Very Good Minus. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" Large. Durack, Elizabeth. ISigned by Author & Illustrator. Signed by Author & Illustrator xii 240 pp, A very good copy of this scarce first edition (1956) in wrapper, signed to the title page by the author and illustrator. Gilt embossed lettering to the spine with light bumps to the head and tail of the spine and to one board corner. A few slight scratches to the front fore edges. Clean and tight. Dust wrapper is not price clipped and is protected in a fully reversible plastic sleeve. There are several short tears to the wrapper edges, with a little light associated creasing. A little rubbing to the corners of the spine of the wrapper with slightest of chipping.
