Boston: Crosby, Nichols & Co., 1860 (preface dated "October 20th, 1859.") [dated on the title page 1860.] 403 Pages clean & unmarked. Mostly Original Green cloth binding with moderate gereral wear to the bds. 2 former owner names, 1 a nice gift inscription. This is a partial rebind which retains the original covers but added a new spine and end papers. Gift inscribed in 1938. A great and sturdy reading example of the First Edition from 1860 at reasumable cost.
