About This Item

London: Augener Ltd. c.1930. Patterned paper covered boards with a grey cloth spine, titles and a beautiful colour illustration by Henriette Willebeek Le Mair to the upper board, in the original plain glassine wrapper. A lovely very near fine copy, the binding firm and bright with just minor wear to the board edges. The contents, with a small, neat gift inscription to the front free endpaper, a few light spots to the text block edges, and slight offsetting to the endpapers, are otherwise clean throughout. A collection of traditional children's songs harmonised by Alfred Moffat. Further details and images for any of the items listed are available on request. Lucius Books welcomes direct contact with our customers.
