About This Item

Westminster Abbey by Joseph E. Morris (Adam & Charles Black, reprint [No Date] circa 1920s)

Twelve colour plates by John Fulleylove.

A volume in the 'Beautiful Britain' series. Originally published in 1914, this copy being a later reprint of the 1920s*.

Hardback in dustwrapper. 64pp including one b/w illustration plus colour plates. 9 x 6.5 inches approx. (230mm x 165mm).

Light wear and rubbing to dustwrapper with some bruising to corner tips. Boards bumped to corners and spine ends; endpapers very tanned and with inscription in ink to front free endpaper; pages a touch dusty and foxed throughout, offsetting to last page, but generally very clean; spotting to edges of page-block.

Nonetheless, a particularly nice, clean copy in the uncommon dustwrapper – lovely.

* ref. [page 78] The A & C Black Colour Books by Colin Inman (Werner Shaw, 1990).
