New York and Chicago: The World Railway Publishing Company, 1903. Hardcover. Very Near Fine. Two books published as one, with "1903" printed at foot of title page of both books. Blue cloth over boards, title stamped in gilt onto spine, marbled edges, 12mo (7-1/2 inches [19.1 cm] tall), pp. 79, and 102, both illustrated with multiple fold-out diagrams, tables, index. Minor misfolds to a few fold-outs, else unmarked. An uncommon title in The Science of Railways series, containing a very detailed analysis of these two types of air brakes.
