About This Item

New York: Excelsior Editions, State University Of New York Press, 2009. First printing. Hardcover. Very Good/very good. Tan cloth hardcover, 1st edition in dustjacket. Signed twice by the author, once on the title page without inscription, and once on the facing page, "To Rosetta & Joe. Best Wishes, Eve Pell." A very good copy with minor bending at the spine ends and 2 dog-eared sections one at the top and one at the bottom where it looks like the text block edge was bumped. A clean, tight copy in solid binding. Unclipped jacket is also very good with an "Autographed Copy" sticker affixed to the lower front edge of the front panel, minor shelf-wear and light scuffing to the dark covers. 225 pp., some black and white photographs. The fascinating story of Eve Pell's journey from privilege to protest, nicely signed.
