Aberdare: Black Lion Hotel 8pp, n.d. circa 1875? Original paper wrappers. Ex-library with accession number to head of front cover in pencil. Covers detached and split, some chipping to spine, small ink stain to fore-edge of front cover, previous owners name to head of page one. Internally quite bright. Tells the story (from the Memoirs of Charles Mayne Young) of the commercial traveller, who came upon the battle of Waterloo, decided to stay and watch (!) and ended up being used as a messenger by Wellington, to enact an order which was regarded by Wellington as pivotal. Scarce, no copies located on COPAC or elsewhere . First Edition. Paper Covers. Fair. 16mo. Pamphlet.
