About This Item
New York; (1943-1944): Dell Publishing. Quarto. 4 issues bound into one with 396 pages. These were the most detailed items on our aircraft that were allowed to be published during World War II. David C. Cooke was not only considered the best expert on military aviation but he was able to get the most current information on after being checked by Army Air Force Security. Articles were written by George E. Haddaway, Harold Evans Hartney, Warner e. Newby and a host of experts on military aviation. Usually, Volume 1:1 is seen but the other copies are found only at the Smithsonian, the Wright University Library and five other institutions.Bound in gray cloth, spine lettering gilt. A very good copy.
