San Francisco: (Grabhorn Press), 1943. First edition. One of 100 copies privately printed for Schwabacher in May 1943. His personal selections from the poetry of William Shakespeare, Rudyard Kipling, Alfred Tennyson, Emily Dickinson, et al. 4to tan cloth-backed paper-covered boards with dolphin patterned design printed in orange and pale orange paper spine label lettered in black; unpaginated. According to the Grabhorn bibliography most copies were bound in light gray, blue and black decorated boards so we assume there were a relatively small number in this binding. Chip in spine label taking out first two letters otherwise very good to near fine.
