This collection brings back the best of these, in 250 pages with Index + a color frontispiece & 22 additional color plates throughout text. Orig. published in London in 1968 (see our listing #020472 for that British edition), this is the First American Edition, Third Printing, from Sept. 1969. Hardcover book with rich brown cloth-covered boards with embossed title to front cover & gilt lettering to spine. Condition is Fine: exceptionally clean, binding straight & strong, hinges secure. pages creamy white with just a hint of tanning to edges. Virtually flawless! The unclipped DJ (with orig. $5.95 price intact on front flap) is Near Fine, downgraded due to a bit of rubbing to extremities & spot of sticker pull at lower spine; beautifully protected in new mylar cover Free!
