Spring Books, 1966. Hardcover. Very Good/Very Good. 8vo - over 7¾"- 9¾" tall. A charming look at historical events from throughout London's history, from a long-tenured newspaperman. First published in this edition in1966, with 5 additional chapters by editor E.R.Wethersett to replace a few pieces removed from the original for various reasons. Apparent first of this edition, VG in an easily VG jacket, in protective mylar. Jacket is price clipped, Front free endpaper also clipped, perhaps to remove gift inscription or previous owner's name. Book contains occasional neat pencil underlining that could be easily erased.
