About This Item
Crocker and Brewster, Boston, 1860. First Edition. Hardcover. Good. Pebbled purple cloth with blind stamped borders and design on front and rear panels, and gilt stamped spine. The volume is lightly bumped on the corners, rubbed and abraded on the spine ends. The gilt spine lettering is mostly unreadable. The text leaves are gently toned, pencilled notations as well as an erasure find a home on the front pastedown and part (about 40%) of the front endpaper has been torn off and is missing.
