First Edition. 7.5 x 5.5". xvii, 272 pages plus 4pp of ads. Publisher's illustrated blue cloth stamped in gilt, gray, red, brown, and tan, top edges gilt. 12 plates from photographs. Cloth slightly worn and soiled, few small faint spots on front cover, no owner's name, interior in near fine condition. Dedication to graduates of the U.S. Naval Academy, especially those of the class of 1883, the author's year of graduation from the Academy. Brady served both in the Navy and the Army, hence the title. Parts Captions: Where Admirals Are Made; Out With The United States Volunteers; and Stories Of Army And Navy Life.; 7.5 x 5.5 inches; 272 pages .
