Published by Jonathan Cape, 1977. Hardback. Very Good/Good. Illustrated by Blake, Quentin. Very good condition in an almost very good dustwrapper. Uncle (the elephant) is trunkdeep in trouble again! Red boards, gilt title to spine. B/w text illustrations. 172 pages. Ex-library with stamp to title page. Spine bumped. Small bumps to middle to front and rear boards. A few pale foxspots. Top of text block is a little dusty. Dustwrapper is edge rubbed and browned. Small mark on spine where label has been removed. Light damp marks to top and bottom of spine - more visible on verso. A few scratch marks to panels.
