Red coloured boards with black writing on the spine. Bumping, rubbing and fading to the head and to the heel of the spine and there is bumping and rubbing to the book corners. A little rubbing to the cloth of the book and the spine has become somewhat faded at the edges, commensurate with loss of dust wrapper. The spine is cocked and down the length of the spine it has become somewhat uneven. Discolouration to both the top and bottom book edges and the top book edges have become slightly bowed. Browning to the paper edges. Browning and very slight foxing to the endpapers and internally the pages are quite tanned due to paper quality used in production. There are some handling marks to the internal pages as well and previous owner's name to the top edge of the free front endpaper. Illustrated dust wrapper ( wraparound ), by " Mahon " , with black coloured titles to the front panel and spine. The dust wrapper is somewhat rubbed and faded. There is chipping, with loss to all dust wrapper corners and to the head and to the heel of the spine. There are in numerous chips, and tears to both the top and bottom dust wrapper edges with associated creasing. The largest tear on the top edge of the rear panel measures 1.25 ".
