William Hornaday, a young American zoologist, travelled extensively to collect wild animals for American Museums. In this book he describes his exploratory and hunting trips throughout Sarawak in 1878. A folding coloured map shows the areas occupied by various 'Dayak' tribes and sub-tribes.
