All edges of book block gilt.Publisher's decorative monogrammed end papers. 216pp B/W Illust. Frontis + 3 full page plates and 8 other illustrations in text all as called for. Orphans Robin and Meg have been living for three years with their Aunt Matilda on a farm in Illinois after their parents died. They hate Aunt Matilda's world and emboldened by Christian in Pilgrim's Progress set out on their own path to the City Beautiful.
