Paris - New York: Edition TAIR - Belwin Mills, 1928. Plastic Comb with Card Covers. Very Good. 11" x 14. Rachmaninov's original Paris edition [Tair 4] in a discarded (discontinued) reprint copy from the former Belwin Mills Rental Library. Rachmaninov's captivating "Three Russian Folk Songs" are dedicated to Leopold Stokowski. Titles: (1) Across the river, swift river, (2) Ah, you Vanka! You devil-may-care fellow, and (3) You, my fairness, my rosy cheeks. The texts appear in Russian, French, English, and German. 59 pages: CONDITION: A securely-bound copy with moderate shelf-wear to its sturdy card-stock covers. The score pages are slightly age-tanned and the notation somewhat faded but legible throughout. There are conductor pencil markings (readily erasable) here and there. This rather hard-to-find score will be securely-packed and promptly shipped.
