Alfred Knopf, 1955. First Edition . Cloth. Fine/Near Good. Large, heavy book, dark green cloth with embossed West African mask on front and as frontispiece, gilt near fine on spine, ink name at top first front end paper, 692 pages plus 16-page index. DJ front and spine has green and black pattern with statue at top front left, spine top also, an outline of chaptes on back, small photo of Linton inside DJ back flap. DJ has slight wear to tips and most edges with tiny tears. Near Good DJ/Fine book.
