About This Item
2-VOLUME SET FROM 1841. THE BOOK IS STRAIGHT AND TIGHT; THE PAGES AND ILLUSTRATIONS ARE VERY CLEAN AND CRISP EXCEPT FOR THE FOXING NOT UNUSUAL IN A 180-YEAR-OLD BOOK... PAGE EDGES ARE ALSO SMOOTH AND STRAIGHT. IT APPEARS THAT THE BOOK HAS BEEN UNOPENED SINCE BINDING. THE BOOK HAS BEEN REBOUND WITH BROWN CLOTH BOARDS; THE COVERS ARE CLEAN AND ALLL EDGES, HINGES, AND CORNERS ARE LIKE NEW - THE ONLY DEFECT I FIND IS A SLIGHT FOLDING OF THE UPPER SPINE EDGE (PHOTO).
