In very good condition with tiny inked name to free endpaper, a few light pencil notations and light toning. Jacket is clipped with tiny chips to spine, rubbing to corners.
The ten stories gathered together in "The Tomorrow-Tamer" are Margaret Laurence's first published fiction The stories center on individual Ghanaians and Europeans and their lives during Ghana's independence in 1957. Jean Margaret Laurence (1926-1987) was a Canadian novelist and short story writer, and is one of the major figures in Canadian literature.
