About This Item
Dublin: At the Sign of the Three Candles, 1934. Wilbraham Fitzjohn Trench (1873-1939) gave this Memorial Discourse on the occasion of the 100th anniverary of the completion of Thomas Moore's "Melodies." Trench notes that Moore was more financially successful than Wordsworth. This is a Very Good copy of the First Edition. Light gray paper-covered boards with green lettering and designs of Irish Muses on both front and back. Clean text; 47 pages. This copy has been INSCRIBED by the author on the FFEP. This is a rather lovely little book; a bit of tanning (1/4") to the top of the covers. In an archival plastic protector. Size: 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall. Inscribed By Author. First Edition.. Hard Cover. Very Good/No Jacket.
