Puzzles have been coloured or completed in pencil on pages 24, 67 & 92. Previous owner's inscription to front endpaper. Minimal foxing and tanning to endpapers and page edges. Some gutter cracking. Mild wear and bumping to spine, board edges and corners, with scuffing and marking to boards. Boards are slightly curved.

Boards are a little rub worn, slight shelf wear to corners, spine and edges. Corners are a little bumped. Spine ends are mildly crushed. Light wear to unclipped dust jacket with tears, nicks and creases to spine, edge and corners. Light tanning to spine and edges.

The text is illustrated with copious coloured drawings by E. Jeffrey. 1/4 blue coloured cloth back strip. 3/4 coloured illustrated boards with yellow, black and green coloured titles. The adventures of Toby Twirl – a young pig who has human hands and walks like a human. Included are some puzzles and a crossword – which has been filled in neatly in pencil. The book is certainly showing age and use – please see photograph. Heavy rubbing and fraying of the back strip edges with bumping of the book corners.
