Holland: Te Groningen Bij J. B. Wolters, 1877. 1st Edition Thus . Quarter Cloth & Paper Covered. Very Good Minus/N/a. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" Large. No Illustrations. 90pp. A scarce copy of this first edition thus, written in Dutch. Bound in half cloth with paper covered boards. Fading to the spine strip which has some gilt embossed lettering to the spine. Slight split to the cloth along the outer hinges at the head and tail of the spine for no more than 1 cm. There is a littlle chipping to the paper covering of the front board adjacent to the cloth spine. Some rubbing to the board edges and scattered light foxing to the end papers. Previous owners contemporary ink inscription to the head of the title page. There is a little normal age toning to the pages and a little pencil marginialia. Otherwise the book is clean and tight. A very good minus copy.
