About This Item

New York: J. F. Taylor & Co., 1902. Hardcover, small quarto bound in green cloth lettered and decorated in white, with large pictorial pastedown on front cover. 236 pages. Deckle edged. Illustrated with 11 full page monochrome plates by George Alfred Williams. First edition, first printing. No previous ownership marks. Several leaves roughly opened, with resulting marginal lose, albeit due to extra wide margins no lose to text. A clean, square, tightly bound copy. Minor flaking to white cover stamping, as per usual, but overall a superior copy of this title, usually found in horrid condition. The companion volume to "Ten Boys from Dickens"; herein depicting the author's most popular distaff creations. Good+. First Edition. Hardcover. Good+/No Jacket. 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall.
