Quarto (26.75cm.); original blue gilt-lettered buckram, red topstain; ix,[3],277pp.; photographic frontispiece, 47 plates depicting 99 photographs by the author, photo-illustrated endpapers. Spine cocked, ends and corners a bit shelf-worn, spine gilt rather dulled, rear hinge cracked with endpaper loose but present. About Very Good overall.
