Also lacking 1 plate, and half of the rear free endpaper. Binding very good. School prize label on front endpaper.; First UK printing. This copy signed by the author in ink on the title page "Grey Owl". xvi, 335, [1 (blank)] pages + frontispiece + 32 of 33 illustrations on 26 of 27 plate leaves. Lacking one plate leaf (facing page 117) and lacking half of final text leaf. Brown cloth covers with gilt lettering on spine. Page dimensions: 213 x 136mm. A faulty copy, as it is lacking half of the final text leaf (torn out) and lacking 1 plate. .
