London: Blackie and Son Limited, 1924. Cloth Bound Boards. Good. 12mo - over 6¾ - 7¾" tall. Not dated, c.1924 - dated from gift inscription dated Christmas 1924edition unknown. Size 12mo, 362 pages. Beige cloth with black titles and repeat pattern to the front cover and spine, beige end-papers. Condition fair-good, corners bumped, corners and edges rubbed, cloth split along hinges, grubby and sunned, hinges cracked, gift inscription on front end-paper, pages are a little toned else clean.
Synopsis

Following his release, he goes to live in London with his daughter Lucie, who had never met him and believed him to be dead. Set in London and Paris before and during the French Revolution and Reign of Terror, A Tale of Two Cities is a fictitious story that falls both into the historical and adventure genres. The famous book is one of the bestselling novels of all time, both for the atmosphere that Dickens’ creates and the tension he weaves.
