Surprisingly retaining the very nice colored foldout map of Surrey County just before the index which has one short 2cm tear at the joint, map by John Bartholomew & Co.. Faded red cloth with gilt spine title, decorative boarder and stamp, t.e.g., dull. The front endpages is of a map of The Railways of Surrey, by Liphook and the nice frontispiece of Guilford and other illustrations are by New, an popular illustrator of the time. 220 [8] pages including index and Methuen catalogue of Little Guide books thus. All extremities worn, scattered foxing, cover color bleed onto the inside edges to pastedowns and endpages, edges and cover with some soil & spots. ; 16mo 6" - 7" tall .
