About This Item
London: Nisbet & Co. Ltd, 1948. Hardcover. Fair. Bannerman, Helen. Small hardback, yellow cloth with black titles on spine, titles and ripple design on front. Some marking/ edge wear to covers. Unpaginated illustrated in colour throughout. Undated circa 1940s. Occasional marks, but generally nice and clean inside. The story of Quasha , who after a good deal, buys a very funny book. She charms the tigers of the jungle with her reading until she stops. Luckily the tigers are foolish and there's a helpful frog. Charming original illustrations by Bannerman.
