Dust Jacket: Very Good with browned (from blue) spine and a 2cm triangle of same to top left corner of front cover from sun exposure, yet still Bright all elsewhere with Deep Black lettering and blue. First Edition. First Printing. A Fine copy in pale yellow cloth, in a Very Good blue green dust jacket, not price-clipped. Edited by Theodore Spencer from the Manuscript in the Harvard College Library. . Fine. Hardcover. 1955.
Synopsis
Stephen Hero is a posthumously-published autobiographical novel by Irish author James Joyce. Its published form reflects only a portion of an original manuscript, part of which was lost. Many of its ideas were used in composing A Portrait of the Artist as a Young Man.
