Spine title in same; minor creases to crown and foot. Upper edge of textblock slightly dust soiled; some small fox marks to fore-edge. Interior of textblock shows some foxing, not intrusive. A very tidy copy; clean and bright. very good Most famous for his character Allan Quatermain, H.Rider Haggard's other adventure novels remain generational favourites. The author was a close friend of Rudyard Kipling and later received the Order of the British Empire. Scarce title; unlisted on most major chronologies. 1904
