About This Item

Detroit: Johnson Smith & Company / W. D. Boyce Co, 1907. Pamphlet. 64p., nearly every page is provided with a clear line-drawn sketch of craftwork vignette-size in surrounding text. Softbound in 5.5x4 inch stapled wraps, presswork on sadly acidic paperstock and so very toned. The wind-driven tri-cycle is our favorite. A fair-only copy, covers and textblock have detached, item is faintly damp-damaged throughout and badly marred at terminal leaves (potato gun remains legible). Staples are rusted with migration, offset smudging in pink and white to covers, titlepage bears a complex tear and an inch-long chip from its fore-edge, and probably a few other flaws, none of which affect directions or graphics. No. 4 Star Red Book Library.
