Orig. published in 1935, this is the First Printing of the Triangle Books/Blakiston editoin (#137) from 1946 (First, thus). With light orange cloth-covered boards stamped with a black design & lettering to front cover & spine, this hardcover 8vo is in VG condition: very clean; binding straight & strong; pages heavily tanned, commensurate with age, but unmarked completely supple; former owner's address stamp to ffep. Rubbing to lower extremities. The unclipped DJ (with cover art by Paul Galdone) is VG-, with rubbing & mild edgewear all around, including some tiny chips & short tears, light soil; nicely protected in nonreflective mylar cover.
