Very good copy of the reproduction of the 1884 edition, published by Scribner, New York. $20.00 Box 2027 A 19th century Army officer and ethnologist relates his experiences and observations regarding the customs of the Hopi Indians, mistakenly called Moqui Indians at that time, focusing particularly on the 16-day ritual known as the snake dance. Bourke was an amazing character even had Sigmund Freud write an introduction to his work on scatology.
