[Small Volume of Six South American Novenas, Primarily Printed in Ecuador]

[Various locations], 1870. About very good.. Six works bound in one. 16mo. Contemporary calf. Binding lightly rubbed. Edge wear and slight loss to a handful of leaves. Handsome little volume of Ecuadorean novenas, mostly unrecorded. The first piece is without its title page, though we presume it to be of South American extract like its fellows. The second is from Bogota, while the remainder are printed in Ecuador in both Quito and Riobamba, a small town 130 miles due south. A complete listing follows. Such works are small and ephemeral, and were often used to death, lowering their survival rate. Excepting the first item which is unidentified, all but one are unrecorded in institutions.
